Mulligan was a ten, 22 minute episode series that aired on Netflix. It had a star studded cast, writing from Tina Fay, and was pitched as a “30 Rock… just in a post apocalyptic world.”
This project challenged me with a new set of problems I never dealt with before. There was a lot of designs that were fluctuating, and sometimes would effect our animation pipeline, as well as our partner studios. I was tasked with making sure this would never become a problem.
We often siloed a few scenes from each other, knowing there will be a design change, so we never lost time on the production end. After, it was a question of making sure the scenes would still stitch together well, which we accomplished with very clear communication to the animators, and an intense post editing process along with a very talented team of clean up artists.
